The Walking Dead is one of Doolin’s favorites. It takes a special talent to mix tear-your-heart-out ZOMBIES and tear- your-heart-out drama, and still leave you with enough hope to not want to shoot yourself in the head at the end of each episode. These guys do it well. Season 3 will premiere October 2012 on AMC, but don’t miss the Walking dead Season 3 Preview weekend July 7-8.
As mentioned on the show a number of times, we at NerdtopiaCast are pretty big fans of HBO’s Game of Thrones. Season 2 just ended. Season 3 doesn’t start until next Spring.

What do you get when you mix a couple of brilliant physicists and a free-spirited hot chick? CBS’s Big Bang Theory, of course! A personal favorite of our comic editor, Charles Baserap, this is one of those smart, funny and frequently awkward sitscoms to which almost every nerd can relate on some level. Season 5 comes to DVD this September.
What do you do when you have psychopathic urges to kill, but don’t want to be a bad guy? Easy. Kill the bad guys. It’s not every show that makes you root for the sweet serial killer. If you’re not one for morally gray issues in your entertainment, better sit this one out, but if you want high quality drama that will make you go “Hmmmm….” you definitely want to give Showtime’s Dexter a go. It premieres September 30th at 9pm.
